We want to give . !

We Want . Give!

Everything Should Serve God and People

Spiritual

We want to bring people the good news of the Gospel
of Grace and Hope, so they too can experience a living
relationship with God.

Material

We want to make the love of God tangible
by providing assistance to people in need.

What We Believe

We believe in God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit as testified to by the Holy Scriptures. We believe that God reveals his will and truth in the Bible in a binding way for all people. Confession, doctrine, faith practice or tradition may differ in detail. We honor and respect distinctions in personal relationships with God, insofar as they are based on the Bible. The evaluation of one attitude of faith as the only valid one is not the object of our work.

Our Vision

The hardship in Eastern Europe has remained unchanged for years: Moldova is the most impoverished country of Europe and in Eastern Ukraine the suffering has become even greater due to the war. With many in great poverty and with dwindling hope, we are driven to come alongside them and reignite the hope of the people. We want to bring the good news to as many possible and pray they will engage in a living relationship with God.  We also want to make God’s love tangible by standing by our fellow human beings in their time of need. We would like to invite you to become a part of this work as well.

Kovcheg (The Ark Singers)

For many years we have been working together with the Ukrainian music group “Kovcheg”. The musicians share the gospel through their songs and music. Alongside their art, they minister and care for the poor and needy in Ukraine. Through their energetic and practical help they want to give them new hope. They often travel to the outskirts of the embattled region of Ukraine for practical and musical ministry.

Ukraine

Ukraine is located in Eastern Europe. Since the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991, the country has struggled with ongoing political, economic and social problems.  The population of Ukraine is very divided.  The West wants to align itself with Western Europe and the East with Russia.  As a result, armed conflict broke out in 2014 and continues to this day. A small part of the country has been occupied by separatists who repeatedly engage in skirmishes with the Ukrainian military.  The population in this area continues to suffer and many have fled to western Ukraine.  A large portion of the people in this region have no means to leave and must stay.  Ukraine is the second poorest country in Europe after Moldova.

Moldova

The Republic of Moldova is a small state located between Romania and Ukraine. The size of the country is about one third of the state of New York.  Before the collapse of the Soviet Union, Moldova was considered the fruit supplier of Russia and was economically very successful.  Today it is the most impoverished country in Europe.  Chances of employment in the country are very low, causing many to work abroad.  The population in Moldova is also very divided. One half of the population wishes for closer ties to the EU while the other half towards Russia.  Conflict due to this divide led to the independent de facto regime in the small region of Transnistria.
