What are the benefits of camps?

For many people, summertime is the epitome of rest and relaxation. No school, no homework, or no work stress at work for a few weeks. Many families use this time to take a vacation. But not everyone can afford a vacation, as many families in Moldova and Ukraine. The camps are a special time where we can reach the children with the Gospel. Most of the children come from very poor families and have no Christian background. The goal of these camps is not only to bring them joy, but also to bring the children closer to heaven and to experience the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Camps In the War Zone

Children’s camps in Ukraine (especially in Galizinovka) are mainly for traumatized children from the war zone. The children have experienced terrible things in the turmoil of war and have escaped with their lives. Through a children’s camp they have the opportunity to forget the hard everyday life for a few days. In addition to sports and games, the children receive regular meals during this time, which is something unusual for many.

Individual Care

Our staff takes time for the children’s concerns and can pray with them. In such camps many things break open and can be processed with the help of our Lord. Each of our camps are only financed by donations, as it is not possible for the children’s parents to pay a contribution.
