Cold winter in Moldova

While we have made provisions for a well-tempered climate in our houses and apartments in winter, many people in Moldova look toward this time with anxiety. Winter is the hardest time of the year as temperatures can drop to -30°C, and heating fuel is costly. We support the elderly and impoverished in staying warm during the winter months.

Costly Coal in Ukraine

In eastern Ukraine many people cannot afford wood or coal for the winter. Although Ukraine has large coal reserves, many mines are no longer in operation due to the war. Now the price of coal has also risen significantly. We have made it our task to help the people through the winter and your donations will make this possible.

Shoe Project

With the high cost of shoes in Moldova and Ukraine, children often have to walk to school in the cold winter with summer shoes or slippers with holes. Leading quickly to sickness. Every autumn we visit families and ensure that children without proper shoes for winter are provided with necessary and suitable warm footwear.

Food Packages

In winter, most people in the country have no means to an income and farming in the fields is impossible. Many rely solely on scarce reserves. In autumn we buy large quantities of potatoes and foodstuffs and distribute them to those in need.
