Soup Kitchen
In Ukraine, due to war, displacement, forced migration, and economic decline, there are many people who are impoverished and do not have enough to eat. Our concern is to provide warm meals to hungry and homeless people.
Sponsorships
Child sponsorships are an essential part of our work.
We want to help disadvantaged children and improve their lives. Our workers in Eastern Europe know the challenges of the children and their families personally and help where the need is greatest. The child sponsorship program is a personal project that cares directly for individual needs.
Christmas Packages
Every year in January, we distribute Christmas packages to families, children’s homes and at Christmas services, where the Christian message is also passed on. Children receive the lovingly wrapped packages with joy and thoughtfulness.
Evangelism
A central concern of our ministry is to share the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ with people and fulfill our missionary mandate. We share the good news through evangelism events, personal evangelism and the sharing of Christian literature.
Church Building
In the east, many people are still coming to faith and new congregations are springing up. Building new meeting places is a challenge. We financially help and support Christians in the east through their construction campaigns.
Children Camps
Christian camps are the most important event of the year for many children. Most of the children come from families in poverty and have no Christian background. They have the opportunity to rest, relax and have fun together. They play, sing, pray and experience the good news of Jesus.
Shoe Project
Many families in poverty can not afford shoes for their children. Through the Shoe Project we aim to provide footwear for every child in need.
Winter Support
Many people in Moldova and Ukraine look toward winter with anxiety. Winter is the hardest time of the year as temperatures can drop to -30°C, and heating fuel is costly. We support the elderly and impoverished in staying warm during the winter months.
Help for self-help
Sometimes it may be challenging for our missionaries to receive the financial support needed for both cost of living and ministry work. Through our Help for Self-Help program, we provide opportunities for our missionaries to generate income through individual self-help projects.
By providing them with financial start-up assistance, they can set up their own small business.
This enables them to produce and sell products, as well as help or train other people in the area enabling them to further support their communities.
